About Elizena R. Arellano

I am a 50 year old woman who thinks like a teenager, but my body tells me I’m definitely my age. I love spending time with my family and I dearly love my great-nieces and nephews and spent as much time with them as I can. My two oldest nieces aren’t just family, they’re also my friends. We talk makeup, friends, Facebook and food together. They’re my taste testers when I come up with a new recipe and together we plan our yearly Christmas bake and craft night for all the other great-nieces and nephews. They always make me feel like I’m the best cook in the entire world. I’m blessed to have the family I do.

As I said previously, I love to cook, clean (yeah, I know! Crazy isn’t it? LOL!), read, write, watch anime, make jewelry, do office work (yep I’m nuts, huh?), and I’m a background soprano with my church’s praise and worship team. We sing contemporary Christian music; we sing hard and soft music.

I grew up in a Christian home and began singing at the tender age of five. I’ve sung with three different local Christian bands and with my younger brother’s band. I’ve been in a quintet, a quartet and a trio and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

I always wanted to travel, but most of that has been only in Texas, Illinois and New Mexico. I’ve cruised to St. John, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico and I think I finally got the travel bug out of me, when I burnt to a near Mexican American crisp on the beaches of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I haven’t lived a fantastically exciting life according to many other people, but I believe that my travels with Jesus are the most exciting that anyone can ever travel.

    • Debbie!!!! Yes of course I remember I was looking at our pictures of the cruise yesterday. I was telling my great nieces what an awesome dancer you were and shoes them the pic of you, Ling and myself with our dance instructors.
Wow, what a coincidence. So very good to hear from you.
I am no longer with the school district. After 25 years I started having health problems, so my darned doctor disabled me. Still keeping busy making jewelry and writing short stories.
Thanks so much for dropping by.
